I help biotech and life science teams turn complex science into engaging and usable interfaces. Currently, I offer fractional and contract design services to teams that need senior design thinking without adding full-time headcount.
My approach treats design as both a logical framework and a creative language — structure that sets your product up to scale, and a voice that makes clear who your brand is. It's not so different from how R&D teams work: hypothesize, test, iterate. My process runs on the same loop, just aimed at a different kind of problem.
Recent work has included the following:
Genomics data visualization, user workflow mapping, and collaborative tools for scientists and researchers
User research: usability testing, interviews, and quantitative data collection
Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, marketing, and bioinformatics teams
Design systems built for scale and adoption
Brand identity across digital, print, and physical touchpoints
